INTERNAL CERTIFICATION PATH
Three advanced levels for mastering, connecting and architecting IAM
The Ariovis internal certification path does not begin with an introduction to IAM. Knowledge of identity and access fundamentals is already a prerequisite. The three levels progressively assess the ability to master a broad scope, operate across several contexts, connect technical, functional and delivery considerations, and ultimately design complex architectures and transformation paths. The word “Associate” in ACIA must therefore not be interpreted as junior level. It is the first level of an Ariovis pathway whose entry point is already highly demanding. The first level is also completed by support functions, with prerequisite preparation where necessary — but the ACIA standard is the same.

ACIA is the first level of the Ariovis pathway, but this first level is already highly demanding. ACIA holders should be able to analyse an IAM topic beyond its technological component, connect several identity domains, detect inconsistencies in a line of reasoning or architecture, explain the business, security and operational consequences of a decision, engage with technical, functional and project stakeholders, and identify matters requiring further analysis or specialist expertise.
The word “Associate” does not mean beginner. Within the Ariovis framework, ACIA already validates a high cross-domain capability, closer to a senior foundation than to an entry-level certification.

Ariovis Certified IAM Professional — ACIP
Connecting technical, functional and delivery expertise
Required experience: A minimum of three years of experience is required, with exposure to several contexts: organisations, industries, architectures, identity populations, technologies, consulting and integration projects, scoping, design, build or operational phases. Time alone is not sufficient.
ACIP does not merely validate more detailed product knowledge. It validates the ability to connect three inseparable dimensions: functional understanding of identities and entitlements, technical mastery of architectures and integrations, and project capability to organise, decide and deliver.

Designing systems, transformation paths and structural decisions
ACIE corresponds to IAM architect level. It is not simply about mastering more technologies or knowing their features in greater detail. The level validates the ability to take a system-wide view of identity, structure a target state, organise a transformation and assume responsibility for decisions with long-term consequences for the client.
