External User
An External User is a person who accesses enterprise services without being directly managed as part of the internal workforce.
Definition
An External User is a user who consumes enterprise resources but does not belong to the organization's directly governed employee population. This may include partners, suppliers, professional customers, or other third parties. Their access model often requires clearer trust boundaries, stronger federation choices, and more explicit control over affiliations and exposure.
