Provisioning
Persistent Profile
A Persistent Profile is a local identity record stored inside the application after first access.
Definition
A Persistent Profile is a local user representation maintained by the application over time rather than reconstructed only at session runtime. In IAM onboarding design, the presence or absence of a persistent profile is a major decision factor because it changes the need for provisioning, local lifecycle management, and compromise handling.
The Ariovis perspective
Migration choices should reflect application criticality, hosting, protocol support and operational readiness. Ariovis favors progressive onboarding over a big-bang assumption.
