SCIM-Managed Local Profile
A SCIM-Managed Local Profile is a local application account whose lifecycle is controlled by the IAM platform through SCIM.
Definition
A SCIM-Managed Local Profile is a persistent application identity that still exists in the target application, but whose creation, update, and removal are managed by the IAG platform using SCIM. This gives stronger lifecycle control than unmanaged local accounts, even though the application still keeps a local user database.
The Ariovis perspective
Migration choices should reflect application criticality, hosting, protocol support and operational readiness. Ariovis favors progressive onboarding over a big-bang assumption.
