Definition

Single Logout, or SLO, is the ability to propagate logout across the federated landscape so that the user is not merely disconnected from one service while remaining active elsewhere. It extends the SSO logic to session termination and helps keep session state more coherent across trusted services.

The Ariovis perspective

Tokens are part of an access architecture, not a substitute for identity governance or authorization. Their scope, lifetime, validation and revocation must match the risk of the API and user journey.
