Privileged access management
Team Account
A Team Account is a shared account used by multiple members of a team rather than by a single identified person.
Definition
A Team Account is a shared account that several operators or administrators use collectively. It creates a major accountability problem because actions can no longer be reliably attributed to one person, which weakens traceability, incident analysis, and control.
The Ariovis perspective
Least privilege is an operating model, not a one-off cleanup. Access must be justified, limited in scope and duration, traceable and removable when the context changes.
