An Authorization Statement is the part of a SAML assertion that describes authorized actions for the subject.
Definition
An Authorization Statement is the assertion component used to indicate what actions or permissions are associated with the authenticated subject. It adds an authorization-oriented dimension to the identity exchange, although many modern architectures still evaluate authorization separately at the target side.
