A SAML Response is the protocol message sent back to a service provider after authentication at the identity provider.
Definition
A SAML Response is the federated message returned to the service provider once the identity provider has completed authentication and prepared the trust payload. It typically carries the assertion and status information needed by the service provider to validate identity and open an application session.
